She is a media personality, and an activist in the field of empowering women. She has worked in the most important Arab and international media channels for more than 20 years.
Wafa has covered many important events in the world, from the United States of America, Russia, Iran, Turkey, Egypt, Tunisia, and many other countries. Through her work as a broadcaster, she covered global events. She is a well-known name in the Middle East. She moved with her family to Canada, Nova Scotia in 2019, and established her company, One Frame Production Company. The company provides digital media services, including services for oversees medias such as Monte Carlo International Radio based in France and AL Mayadeen TV based in Lebanon.
She was nominated for Immigrant Women Entrepreneurship Network - Entrepreneur of the Year 2022
Wafa also develops digital media for businesses including social media management, media campaigns, media consultation, and video production. She is a member of BNI (Business Networking international), she helps businesswomen to develop their businesses through her experience in the field of media. She offers many workshops and free consultations for entrepreneurs, especially newcomers who need help building their businesses and have difficulty introducing themselves in the local community. This is done by guiding them on how to best use digital and social media to achieve their goals.

Dr.Sura Hadad
Dentist and social activist
She is a dentist, a former faculty member at Dalhousie University, an activist in the communities of Nova Scotia, an entrepreneur, and a mother of 4. Her dedication to helping others and quest to make the world a better place has earned her the Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee metal in 2023, a Platinum Jubilee Halifax West Community Hero Award in 2022, and 2019 Aurum Award from Dalhousie. She has also earned a Nova Scotia Dental Association Volunteer of the Year Award. Sura has a scholarship in her name for the second year student, which is given to internationally trained dentists to continue their studies at Dalhousie University.
Through her work as a dentist, she helped and supported many vulnerable groups, led by the refugees who flocked to Nova Scotia during the past few years. Additionally, she has expanded her activities of volunteering by providing dental/medical assistance in remote areas of Africa by traveling with voluntary medical campaigns, despite the risks that the team may be exposed to. Sura has also been active as a leader eager to help people in need in collaboration with Feed Nova Scotia, Bayers Road Westwood Community Center, and Souls Harbour, to name a few.
Sura is active in the field of entrepreneurship and supported the empowerment of women at political and economic levels. This support is spread to not only women, but all segments of society, as she promotes small businesses through her Facebook page. Because of her dedication, she was chosen to run for the Progressive Conservative Party in the Bedford South area in 2021. Even though she narrowly missed the win, Sura continues her work in many Nova Scotian communities. As an entrepreneur. Sura also succeeded in building a thriving dentistry and using her knowledge to be philanthropic in the local communities.
